"DPS" will act as guardian during the Client’s absence and will take any action considered appropriate in order to protect and keep in good health the pet/s in our care.
If your pet has had a serious or contagious illness in the month before pet sitting begins, an ‘all clear’ note will be required from your vet before we can accept responsibility for your pet.
"DPS" reserves the right to cancel service at any location where a pet with a potentially infectious condition exists. "DPS" strives to provide clean, safe service to each of our clients. In doing so, we strongly recommends that each pet be vaccinated, de-wormed, and protected from harmful parasites according to Veterinary Surgeons recommendations.
Enough food for the whole period of care will be provided by the client. Additional food purchased by us will be payable by the client on return. · All Clients will be responsible for any costs which might be incurred, either veterinary or other, as a result of any sickness, accident or damage caused to or by their pet/s. Clients will be responsible for paying any such costs or expenses on their return. No liability will be attached to "DPS" due to the unpredictable nature of the work.
If the client lives in an apartment building where parking is usually difficult to find he/she must provide a parking space for the pet sitter. If parking is not easily available, we will not be able to take on the job.
All clients will complete a detailed booking form which will either be sent to you by email or hand delivered to you at the first consultation.
Dogs must have an ID tag on their collar and the client must provide a strong lead/leash. We will not under any circumstances walk dogs in areas that are not allowed for dogs i.e. beach, parks etc.
